What Working Together Might Be Like

You often work so hard to maintain professional appearances, to keep it all together, to be the confident leader, respected role model, and responsible parent…and sometimes you need a few easy moments just for you.

A safe place to unload, be heard, regroup and recharge. Someone who gets you, who helps you unload that weight you’re carrying around, but also someone who asks the tough  questions and invites reflection to help you follow your own inner compass when you get temporarily disoriented, discouraged, or disheartened.

about angela

I'm a global coach with a Doctorate in Depth Psychology, a passion for people, creative living, music, maps, food, and an unquenchable thirst for travel. I love to be immersed in new cultures & different languages and have the opportunity to  explore new aspects of myself in these new environments. I have a particular affinity for and connection with Spain, which has become like my second home the past several years.

I have also weathered the tough side of life and travel: the homesickness, the tension of long-distance relationships, acculturation challenges, living out of a suitcase, the pressure of expectations, and the occasional sadness, self-doubt, stress, and fear that can come on, especially when plans change or are reconsidered. I know well the importance of listening to and staying true to your Inner Compass as well as the heartache that occurs when ignored.

What I Value As Your Coach

Your Inner Compass

When you follow your Inner Compass, you'll always be home.

My passion (besides travel and culture) is helping you identify and connect with your true nature. To show you how to let your Inner Compass lead the way, so your life is full and meaningful. To help you feel at home in your own skin and your own soul, no matter where you are.

Working together, you’ll grow the strength and wisdom to say Yes to things that light you up, and No to things that drain your energy..

Your Roots

Our work together is enriched by your own history, perspectives and traditions. My clients are from around the world: the Middle East, Russia, Asia, Latin America, North America, and Europe. As global women, we’re all working through some type of acculturation and generational, cultural, and familial challenges. Exploring your family, culture, and multi-generational patterns offers context, promotes insight, and deeper understanding.

Together we take those threads and weave a new story for you to move forward with. A future which honors your roots while freeing you to make the choices that are right for you.

ECLECTIC transformative practices

I believe your coaching should be as enlivening as your own eclectic travel experiences. No cookie-cutter programs here. Our work together is influenced by:

  • my background in Depth Psychology, Somatic Psychology, and Family Systems
  • my passion for the Arts
  • the wisdom we gather from Wandering
  • the power in connecting with Natural Cycles and your own Intuition.

  • 2014 Ph.D. Depth Psychology with emphasis in psychotherapy, Pacifica Graduate Institute
  • 2005 MA in Marital & Family Therapy with specialization in Clinical Art Therapy, Loyola Marymount University.
  • 1998 BBA Business Administration & Marketing, Loyola University Chicago
  • Certified Neuro-Emotional Technique Practitioner

I draw expertise and experience from my doctoral education in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, my work with clients as a licensed psychotherapist in California, as well as additional work experiences as a university professor, independent consultant,  and in a variety of capacities in the entertainment, travel, and corporate worlds. I synthesize and tailor my knowledge and experiences for use as a Global Coach for the specific needs of my clients. Though I have a separate local psychotherapy practice in Ventura, CA, in my role as Global Coach, I provide guidance and support for current life stresses related to:

  • career, vocation, and life direction
  • work/life balance
  • relationships
  • adjusting to different work & life cultures
  • traveling and studying/working/living abroad
  • adjusting to repatriation in one’s home country
  • healthy lifestyle & wellness
